The experimental demonstration of the production and detection of electromagnetic waves by Heinrich Hertz in [1,2]; the Michelson-Morley experiment by Michelson and Morley in [3]; the Lorentz transformation by Lorentz in [4] and Poincare in [5] led to the establishment of the fundamentasl of the speed of light.
